Righto. That sounds like hard work! Beautiful range of sounds though.
Have you come across the music of Andrea Neumann - she plays the "innenklavier" - basically a piano frame with contact mics and a mixer. Extraordinary stuff...
Well worth going to see if you get a chance.

Wow. Really love the dry ascetic tone to your latest piece. Is the picture of a piano innard a clue to the source of the sounds? It sounded like a flute to me!

Lee, that's wonderful playing, I'm posting it to Facebook. There's a college station out of Columbia University that does New Music, wkcr.org and I'm going to tell them about improvfriday, our individual stuff and mashups. Maybe they'll play some of our stuff, you never know. Steve Layton also used the piano improv in a duet and the effect is so different. With you it's a avant-jazz sound with building energies and sound painting and with Steve it's more atmosphere/moody.
