Sound-In Spotlight!

Do you have a favorite piece - or one that you think is your best work?

We want to feature this in a new place: Sound-In Spotlight

So start looking through your Sound-In postings and put the best on SoundCloud.

Then send me an email - here on the Sound-In site or at my FB- with a link to the SoundCloud file you want to be featured.

We will be posting these on the Sound-In homepage for a week or two as a featured piece.

Be sure to send me the link by email - we want to feature one at a time so if you post a link in the comments here we will remove it.

Looking forward to listening to what our Sound-In members feel is their best effort.  Should be interesting!

Well I understand and I apologize for the mix up...

I suppose if we tried to post something under a fictional name your style would give it away.  :)

I'd rather not now cause it looks too weird.  No big deal.

Can you please send it again to

Hi Paul,

I sent one quite a while a go, that's why I asked. No big deal, just thought I'd ask.  :-)

The criteria is up to those submitting.  Email me a link of a SoundCloud file you think is good or a favorite and we will feature it.

We will feature one piece for this month and change again first event in March.

So, is there criteria for inclusion and exclusion? Seems like it.

Thanks for this - do you have a SoundCloud link?  SoundCloud delivers somewhat better fidelity and we want to use the best source file for the Sound-In Spotlight.

Thanks for the comment, but be sure to read above.  This is just a call for submissions not a sharing thread.

So, this is something I sent out as a demo of all my work to that point.. it was a 2004 January and I had just copy-written all my work to that point that was digital.  If I remember correctly they said the piece was "good" but they would need to hear more.  I had gotten the address of them from the song writers market book in the electronic music section.  Of course to get them to listen to more of my stuff means I had to spend money I did not have.  The whole thing ended there,..  I had since given up on trying to please the public with my music.  And now I just work to enjoy what I do myself.
